Bio:

Kwezi is a queer black woman creative who prides herself in her love for acting, comedy and directing. Over the summer, Kwezi will be working with Actor’s Shakespeare Project as a teaching artist, further developing her passion for sharing knowledge. Her local theatre credits include: Apollinaire Theatre Company in collaboration with Teatro Chelsea’s Hamlet (ASM/Ensemble). Select Emerson Stage credits: Little Women (Assistant Director & Intimacy Coordinator). Select Emerson College credits: Emerson Shakespeare Society’s The Moors (Agatha) & Lord of the Flies (Ralph); Mercutio Troupe’s Dance Nation (Zuzu); Musical Theatre Against the Grain’s Hot Dam! (Old Joe Schmo); Jake Tolentino’s Antony & Cleopatra! (Mark Antony); BlueJay Theatre Collective’s Significant Other (Laura). After graduating, Kwezi plans on staying around the Northeast to continue her work in theatres but is never opposed to seeing where the wind takes her!
