Bio:

Jonathan Lopez is an inner-city Boston native artist. Since he could remember Jonathan has always been inspired to be an artist. It wasn’t until middle school where he started doing musicals that he found his passion for acting. He continued to pursue his acting dreams by going to a performing arts high school, where he was able to get in-depth training in acting while balancing academics. During his time there he managed to learn so much about scene work, improv, directing, Meisner, movement, and voice. He also managed to part take in a variety of productions on and off stage, like Marisol and The Last Days Of Judas Iscariot. After graduating from high school Jonathan decided to attend Emerson College to continue his training. While at Emerson he was able to have training in a wide variety of techniques like on-camera acting, Linklater, Alexander technique, Meisner, and Laban. While his time at Emerson, Jonathan was also able to gain non-acting experiences that helped him have an understanding of the business side of the entertainment industry. He managed to intern at a talent agency in Los Angeles, and most recently helped produce the musical Jelly’s Last Jam. He will be graduating this Spring with a BFA in Acting. Post graduation Jonathan plans to either move to Los Angeles or New York City.
