Bio:
Annajean Gionta is a Boston and NYC based creative of many capacities; she is an actor, singer, and comedian. Annajean is currently acting in the Bluey X CAMP Immersive Experience in Boston. While at Emerson, in addition to acting, she honed in on her sketch comedy skills as a writer/actor for The Girlie Project, Emerson’s only female centered comedy troupe. She has also trained at Shakespeare & Company’s Summer Intensive in Lenox, MA, performing selections from Macbeth (Lady Macbeth) and Measure for Measure (Isabella). Regional credits: The Suppliant Women with Apollinaire Theatre Company and Heat of the Summer at Boston Playwrights’ Theatre. Educational credits: Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), Heathers: The Musical (Heather Duke), The Moors (Marjory/Mallory), Bonnets: How Ladies of Good Breeding are Induced to Murder (Mrs. Wolcott), RAGE (Ensemble, female swing), and This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing (Female swing).
