Sky Fortes is a dynamic and versatile black actress and vocalist with proud Trinidadian and Cape Verdean roots. Based in Boston, MA, she has been performing across the city and beyond for most of her life. Her stage experience includes standout roles such as the Selector in How We Got On by Idris Goodwin, Margaret in POTUS by Selina Fillinger, Bessie/ensemble in Memphis by Joe DiPietro, and ensemble in Dreamgirls by Tom Eyen, among other local productions. In addition to her theater work, Sky has acted in several student films at Emerson College and is actively pursuing more opportunities in film. She’s also a singer-songwriter who creates her own music and vocal arrangements, with plans to release her original work soon. With a deep passion and dedication to her craft and storytelling, Sky is excited to continue growing as both an actor and a vocalist. After eight years of dedicated training, she’s more than ready to take on new opportunities—no matter the location!
